My name is Viktor. I am a self-proclaimed nerd who loves problem solving and learning. I have a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy and I am currently studying to become a Systemdeveloper in .NET. Besides my love for technology and computers that I have had since childhood, I also am a big fan of sports and training. This is what set me on the path to both become a physiotherapist, but also to take the step to change career-paths into software development. I do enjoy having a lot of hobbies, besides friends and family I enjoy spending my time with gaming, reading both fantasy or about coding, creating my own projects or playing golf.
For Backend components I am most comfortable in C#. I have built both minimal API's aswell as Controllers being used in ASP.NET API-projects. I have a little bit of experience writing code in Python aswell. For Frontend I have built projects in plain HTML/CSS/Javascript, but also frameworks like NEXT.js, React, WPF and Blazor. This is my own, self-hosted homepage. I wanted to create this for several reasons. I felt it was due time to create my own portfolio page to be able to showcase my projects that I am working on. But the project started with having a self-hosted plattform for one of the applications I was building. While planning in how i would access the application myself, I got the idea to not only have a portfolio-page, but my own home-hub where i can access the applications I have built for myself. This started the journey in both setting up the hosting, trying to make it secure aswell as finding a way to have both a webpage and applications hosted at the same time. So that is the short answer. This is both a portfolio-page, aswell as my own, personal hub for accessing my applications.
